Shadowplay at Windermere Science Festival

We took Shadowplay to this year’s Windermere Science Festival for another two days of engagement, education, and exploration with generative AI.

The festival was hosted in Windermere Jetty Museum, which is highly recommended!

The event had a really wide range of attractions for the whole family, including occasional Storm Troopers and Darth Vader (we couldn’t resist turning Vader into a puppy).

As usually we made some small technical developments with the system. On this occasion we tested our ‘front capture’ for the first time. This produces the same effect that we always did with shadows, but actually allows us to capture the image during broad daylight.
